Dr.Dean Gronemeier
Dean Gronemeier has taught at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in the capacity of Director of Percussion Studies since the fall of 1989. Additionally since the fall 2003 semester, he serves the College of Fine Arts as the Associate Dean. Along with being a percussion educator, Gronemeier is an active clinician for the Yamaha Corporation of America, SABIAN Cymbals and Mike Balter Mallets. He has soloed extensively throughout the United States and Mexico, as well as making appearances as a soloist in England, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Australia and Chile. Dean received his Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Music degrees from the University of Arizona where he studied with Gary Cook. He received his Bachelor of Music degree from Northern Illinois University where he studied with Rich Holly, Robert Chappell and Al O'Connor. In December of 2001 Gronemeier received his Juris Doctorate degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Dr.Timothy A. Jones
Dr.Timothy A. Jones is currently serving as Lecturer in Percussion Studies in the Music Department of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Tim earned his Associate Diploma and Bachelor of Music degrees in Jazz Studies from the University of Adelaide, South Australia, and his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Percussion from UNLV. He is Vice President of the Nevada chapter of the Percussive Arts Society and artist faculty member and coordinator of the Las Vegas Music Festival (LVMF) Percussion Institute. As a professional percussionist, Tim has toured and performed extensively in Australia, Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States. He has worked as a section percussionist with the Las Vegas Philharmonic and has done extensive free-lancing in Las Vegas since 1997. Tim endorses Yamaha musical instruments, Sabian cymbals and Vic Firth sticks and mallets.
